ULYSSES X CARING

 After missing out on an earlier Ulysses filly, we were determined to pick up the second filly by him in the sale.

Ulysses has been flying under the radar for several seasons now, he has a long list of stakes winners to his name but he is far from a fashionable stallion when it comes to the yearling sales.

Having seen the last couple of renewals of the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot, we were keen to purchase a couple of yearling fillies that we believe can make the listed contest at the Royal meeting. The race was poor this season and it doesn't look set to change anytime soon due to the new restrictions put on the race.

This filly is from an excellent Cheveley Park family, there black type right down the page and this filly looks real quality.

She is another for our growing team at James Owen's, James has really impressed us since we joined the yard, he leaves no stone unturned in finding improvement and we have a very exciting two year old filly called Wetsand and we are hoping this filly can replicate that level of success. She has won over £30,000 in prize money and looks a certainty to pick up some valuable black type or even a sales race before the season is out!
