To put her price into perspective, Too Darn Hot’s advertised 2026 stud fee is £100,000. We have bought this filly for £22,050, less than a quarter of that figure. His European yearlings averaged more than £156,000 in 2025, underlining just how far below the usual market level we were able to secure her.

Too Darn Hot has earned his place among the most exciting stallions in the world. A champion son of Dubawi, he is now delivering outstanding results at stud, with progeny including Fallen Angel, Hotazhell and Broadsiding. His daughter Fallen Angel is a particularly compelling advertisement for owning one of his fillies, having won at Group 1 level at two, three and four. This is a sire capable of producing early quality alongside the scope to develop into a top-class older horse.

For us, the attraction is the opportunity to access that calibre of stallion at an affordable purchase price. We are buying into a pedigree normally associated with a very different budget, and we are delighted to offer our owners the chance to be involved.

She will be trained by James Horton at Newmarket, whose grounding includes seven years as assistant to Sir Michael Stoute. That experience provided an exceptional education in developing talented racehorses, and we look forward to seeing him bring this filly through her preparation and onto the racecourse.
