STARMAN X UTTERFLY CHARMING

Following a recent trip to Newmarket with Sam James and Pierre Louis Jamin, we have moved to secure this athletic Starman colt who Pierre reported “He feels smart”.

Whilst his gallop wasn’t the most pleasing on the eye that we saw, he had several reasons behind this, largely due to his preparations been in their infancy.

He came up well with a much more forward rival who will debut in the Brocklesby and is up to eight weeks in front of our purchase by exciting stallion Starman.

The Harry Angel colt that he worked with has since worked with two more 2yos and he firmly put them in their place which again upgrades the work the Starman work put up.

Starman needs no introduction to anyone who followed racing in 2025, he burst onto the scene as a first season stallion with four group winners and multiple stakes placed horses.

A group one winner himself, he stands at Tally Ho Stud and he looks to be yet another success story from the County Westmeath Stud Farm.

He had so much success in 2025 that his stud fee rocketed from €10,000 to €40,000 in 2026. This could be the last chance to get into a smart horse by the stallion without paying mega money with the average yearling price of £96,000 expected to rise again if he has another good year.

Dylan had an excellent year last year and its expected his numbers will be even better this year after he has carefully selected an exciting string of 2yo's.

Our lad should be on the track in May and we'll be aiming to pick up a maiden before getting our top hat out and heading to the Royal meeting!
