Before we start with any pedigree angles, we need to point out that physically, this filly is an absolute weapon! Nick felt that she was the best filly in the sale and had she had been in book one or two, she’d have made an absolute fortune, well over our budget!
By Pinatubo, he’s had a good start to life as a Godolphin stallion without been scintillating. He’s produced a few stakes winners, with all of his crop appearing to improve with age. I think the telling stat for me is his average RPR of his runners, over 100 horses have hit the track and less than 30% of them have run below 70, something that was highlighted by the fact that he was leading the winners to runners start in his first season as a sire.
Our filly is out of the Fred Darling winner, Rimth, who also finished second in the G1 Cheveley Park stakes. Whilst she hasn’t produced a stakes winner as of yet, just one of her six foals haven’t won with four of the six running to 89 or higher.
The Pinatubo x Oasis Dream cross has also already worked, producing 95 rated Basalt.
This pedigree looks bulletproof and coupled with her fine, physical make up, we believe this filly can be another stakes filly for the NBR and Karl Burke partnership.
She goes into training with Karl Burke, Karl’s juvenile record is well advertised and im sure you don’t require any convincing that Spigot Lodge is one of the best places for a two year old filly to be trained.
They have an excellent record in training every size and every pedigree and we are very proud of our partnership with the yard that has yielded over one hundred winners, the majority being two year old successes.
