We are delighted to welcome Lot 633 from the Goffs Orby Book 2 Sale to Nick Bradley Racing. This daughter of Lucky Vega marks an exciting new partnership as our first horse to go into training with Paddy Twomey, with the Goffs bonuses and next September’s €1,000,000 Goffs Million firmly in our plans.

Paddy’s emergence as a major force in Irish racing has been particularly impressive over the last few seasons. His best-ever tally of 43 winners in 2025 included Royal Ascot success with Carmers in the Queen’s Vase, alongside further stakes victories with horses such as One Look, Seo Linn, Bubble Gum and Magical Hope. His ability to develop quality horses and place them successfully makes this a partnership we are very excited to begin. 

His record in the race we are targeting could hardly be more relevant. Paddy trained the first two home in this year’s Goffs Million, with Trean beating stablemate Hi Corbett Court at the Curragh on 26 September. That followed his earlier success with One Look, who won the race on debut in 2023. He knows exactly what it takes to prepare a two-year-old for this valuable prize. 

Our filly is by Lucky Vega, the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes-winning son of Lope de Vega. A top-class six-furlong performer at two, he offers an appealing source of juvenile speed, and his early runners have already included the Group-performing Lam Yai and Senorita Vega. 

The dam, Musical Tribute, is a winning daughter of Acclamation, out of the juvenile winner Gift Of Music, by Cadeaux Genereux. That gives this filly a pedigree combining Lucky Vega’s two-year-old ability with established speed influences on the dam’s side—an encouraging foundation for the campaign we have in mind. 

We have ticked the box for the Goffs Two Million Series, opening up the opportunity to target €50,000 bonuses attached to selected two-year-old races, as well as the €1,000,000 Goffs Million at the Curragh in September 2027. The series offers €2 million in total through the feature race and its bonus programme, giving owners meaningful targets throughout the season. 

With a pedigree suited to a juvenile campaign, valuable incentives and a trainer fresh from dominating our principal target race, this is an exciting way to launch our partnership with Paddy.

Please note that Paddy will be monitoring her progress in the Spring, if he doesn't feel like she can win an Irish maiden then she will move over to the UK to be trained however we cannot stress just how much Paddy loved this filly, she was the pick of the entire sale for him in terms of a restricted band price animal.
