 Charlie Clover contacted us on the 3rd March 2026 re a filly that worked very well at the weekend. It is a Mohaather filly who was picked up very cheaply at the Tattersalls Book 3 Sale and she has been pleasing Charlie and his team over the past few weeks, with her recent work been extremely eye catching.

Charlie tells me that it is owned by some of the staff in the yard and a couple of friends of Charlie's. With the season less than a month away we are now ramping up our efforts to add horses to the string particularly 2yos who are impressing at home.

Charlie tells us that this filly is the sharpest 2yo he has ever trained. She is showing speed that he hasn't seen before in March and Charlie was adamant that she was faster and better than A'ali G who won twice for Charlie in 2025. Charlie also trained AMO racing owned, Flowerhead in 2025 and she finished second in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and he has been well supported by Amo again this year.

In her piece of work at the weekend, she clocked very good speed figures including finishing the piece of work at a speed of 38.7mph. The data from the gallop can be seen above.

Charlie is adamant that this filly has already shown a huge amount of ability and expects her to pick up a Maiden or a Novice early in the season and pick up a GB Bonus in the process. As we did in 2025 with Ali Shuffle won won £50,000 in Great British Bonuses, we will be looking to target a string of restricted fillies novice early in the season when the pool of horses is relatively small.

Looking at potential race targets, the Brocklesby Stakes has been mooted as a potential starting point and we also have an entry in the Super Sprint at Newbury, a race that we will carry bottom weight in because of our low hammer price.

The owners have only made 35% available in this horse so shares are very much limited..
