Upon reviewing the sale we feel like we've secured some fantastic value in the shape of this Bungle Inthejungle filly for just £12,000 from Rathasker Stud.

We have a fantastic relationship with Maurice at Rathasker Stud and he has stayed in the filly based on his high expectations on her as a two year old.

Not only was this filly consigned by Rathasker Stud, she was also bred there, Maurice stands Bungle Inthejungle himself and the mare is by Anjaal who also used to stand at the stud in County Kildare.

We have had plenty of success when buying products of Rathasker stud, mainly fillies by stallions Coulsty and Bungle Inthejungle.

This time last year we purchased Poppy Foxy for just exactly the same amount from Maurice and she has already won two races as a two year old and she looks to have a very bright future ahead of her.

Bungle Inthejungle is high on our list of stallions that we look out for, he's not completely in fashion and his ability to produce a race horse is undervalued by most.

He is more than capable of producing a smart sprinter, headlined by group one winner Winter Power, Lowther winner, Living In The Past along with fellow stakes winners, Rumble Inthejungle, Givemethebeatboys, JM Jungle, Jungle Peace and Jungle Drums.

This filly looks every bit a sprinter in the making, she stands around 15'3 and looks all power with a back end that screams fast! 

Again, like our other purchases at this sale, she's been purchased with a view to picking up a £25,000 bonus that Goffs are now offering in the UK similiar to that of the Orby bonuses, which we won three of in 2025, more than any other UK owner.

Following on from that, she has also been entered in the Harry's Half Million which offers £15,000 down to tenth place in late August on the Knavesmire.

Jack Morland was very keen to train this horse and he has taken a large share based on his confidence behind the horse. Jack has done a great job with another cheaply bought sprinter of ours called Saucy Jane and hopefully we can have a similiar level of success here.

We will be plotting our early season targets around the restricted races in April and May, a strategy that has worked year on year, buying he best horses for under £20,000 to qualify us for band D races.
