Bungle Inthejungle stands at Rathasker Stud, where he has delivered year on year, speedy, precocious but talented juveniles. Whilst he was a dual group winner as a two year old, he doesn’t have the typical stallion profile but that hasn’t stopped him producing a plethora of good horses such as Nunthorpe winner, Winter Power, King George stakes winner, JM Jungle and Phoenix Stakes winner, Givemethebeatboys. 

His progeny are sharp and that’s exactly what we see in this filly, one to get on the track in the opening couple of months of the season before hopefully targeting races like the Marygate, Lily Agnes, Woodcote and the Hilary Needler.

Rathasker Stud we’re so keen on this filly that they have retained a 25% share 

  The dam, by Dark Angel, is a dual winner as a two and three year old. Dark Angel is a renowned damsire, Content, Bedtime Story and even Havana Grey are all by Dark Angel mares.

Bungle Inthejungle x Dark Angel is also a proven cross, with two of the four examples achieving an RPR of over 100, including Molecomb winner, Rumble Inthejungle, who now stands at Norman Court Stud.

Charlie has been a pleasure to deal with since we had our first horse in the yard, he tells you exactly how it is and we are looking forward to building a strong partnership.

Blooming Legend was an inexpensive purchase, costing less than £4,000 and she’s already a dual winner, what a great way to start!

His early results have been excellent, he’s operating at a 15% strike rate and has already flavoured the big races, with Flowerhead finishing second in the G2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.

His juvenile record hasn’t gone unnoticed and AMO racing have added Charlie to their roster with his cohort of horses expected to rise in 2026.

  Given we expect this filly to be on the track in the opening months of the year, we will be cracking straight on, getting her broken in and ridden prior to Christmas before a short ten day break.

So often, progeny of Bungle Inthejungle can be off confirmation wise which can delay their intended debuts but this filly is almost perfect, she has a brilliant walk and she should take the early stages of her career in her stride.

An €10,000 IRE Incentive will be on our radar as we plot her maiden campaign, where we will look to target the valuable restricted race series. Whilst this is a message we often repeat, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it!

From here, we’ll look to line up in races like the Hilary Needler, Lily Agnes, Marygate stakes and who know… Royal Ascot!
